This rare appearance of an ensemble TOO BIG for any concert hall is coming together for one day only and you are welcome to be a part of it. The Piano Orchestra is forming to celebrate International Piano Week. Players of all level and experience are encouraged to take part. Piano orchestra members will come together to learn Umi’s Lullaby, a piece written especially for the event by Melbourne based composer Sonny Chua and will be conducted by Reservoir piano teacher Katrina Wilson O’Brien. International Piano week takes place on the first week of September and is an initiative by Hal Leonard.
